Service provider and data controller
AcademicFix is the project and service name used on this website. Before any paid service begins or payment is requested, the contracting service provider’s identity and required commercial details are disclosed to the client in the written proposal.
Website analytics and your choice
Google Analytics 4 is activated only when you choose “Allow analytics”. This measurement helps us understand visits to public pages, traffic sources and basic website interactions. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are not enabled.
Your choice is stored only in your browser. You can use the Cookie settings button on the page to change your choice or withdraw permission. Administration, personal proposal and secure file-upload pages are excluded from analytics measurement.
Google may process limited analytics data outside Türkiye. You can read more about Google's data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
Who handles your enquiry
AcademicFix is the service brand used on this website. Before any paid service is accepted, the written proposal and commercial document will identify the contracting service provider and data controller by legal name. Do not make a payment until you have received that information.

Information we collect
The quote form may collect your name, email address, institution or organization, file type, requested service, preferred timeline, target journal or institution, and the message you choose to provide.
The initial form does not accept document or dataset uploads. Please do not paste confidential research content, personal participant data or unpublished findings into the message field.
If a secure transfer link is issued, we also process the project reference, transfer status, file names, file sizes, technical timestamps and the documents or datasets you choose to upload. Proposal approval records include the approved scope, name of the approving person, date and time, and a one-way hash used for security and evidential integrity.
Files containing participant data or other personal information should be de-identified before upload. Do not upload special-category or unnecessary third-party data.
Why we use this information
We use the information to take steps requested before a service agreement, assess scope, prepare and record a proposal, provide the agreed service, deliver files, communicate with you, protect the transfer system, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.
Email delivery and service providers
Form and workflow messages are transmitted through Resend. The website, database and private object storage use Cloudflare services. These providers may process the limited account, message, technical and file data needed to operate the service.
These providers may process data outside Türkiye. Before paid operations begin, the data controller must assess and document the applicable cross-border transfer mechanism and update this notice if needed.
Retention and security
Secure upload links normally expire after 48 hours. Files uploaded only for scope assessment are scheduled for deletion 14 days after transfer completion; files for an approved project are scheduled for deletion 30 days after transfer completion, unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is legally necessary. Proposal, approval, invoice and payment records may be retained for the applicable statutory period.
File links use high-entropy bearer tokens that are stored only as one-way hashes. Files are stored under randomized object names in private storage and are not publicly listed. Administrator access uses a short-lived, single-use email link and an HTTP-only session cookie. We use proportionate safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may ask to access, correct or delete your enquiry information, subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact info@academicfix.com with your request.
A customer account is not required. Personal proposal and upload links should not be forwarded because anyone who obtains the active link may be able to view the proposal or upload files under that reference.
