AcademicFix Studio

AcademicFix Studio is a Windows application distributed through Microsoft Store. The former browser workspace and hosted Studio API access have closed. The public Studio page and feedback form remain available.

Work records in the Windows app stay on your device. Adding a file alone does not start an AI request. When you send a message or task, selected documents and related task context may be sent to your connected AI provider. If you use an official Codex or Claude Code session or an optional API connection, your provider's access terms, usage limits and any API charges apply. Studio does not automatically switch to a paid API connection.

Previously hosted project, conversation, task and file records linked to a former web Studio account were not deleted when browser access closed. The former web account's Settings screen can no longer be used to manage these records; they do not automatically transfer to the Windows app. You can send requests to access, correct or delete these records to info@academicfix.com.

Website analytics and your choice

Google Analytics 4 is activated only when you allow the Analytics option. This measurement helps us understand visits to public pages, traffic sources and basic website interactions. Google advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled. Analytics consent does not authorise X advertising measurement.

X advertising measurement is separate and optional, and is off by default. With your permission, the X Pixel runs only on a clean Turkish or English homepage visit. X may process your IP address, browser/device information and advertising cookies or identifiers. This integration supplies no document or form content, email or telephone parameters; automatic form matching and additional interaction tracking are disabled. The page URL is excluded from the measurement payload. The Pixel does not run on tools, uploads, feedback, administration or account pages.

Both choices are stored in your browser until you change them or clear browser data. Cookie settings lets you decline each category independently or withdraw permission. Withdrawing X consent reloads the page to stop future Pixel execution; data already sent or requests already in flight cannot be recalled. X may process data outside Türkiye. Your choice is stored only in your browser. You can use the Cookie settings button on the page to change your choice or withdraw permission. Administration, personal proposal and secure file-upload pages are excluded from analytics measurement.

Google may process limited analytics data outside Türkiye. You can read more about Google's data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.

Who handles your enquiry

AcademicFix provides free self-service tools, guides and checklists. The website does not sell services or offer individual document preparation or review.

Information we collect

The feedback form collects the selected topic, message, language and consent to send the message; a reply email address is optional. It is not a quote or order form.

The separate Studio feedback form stores the report type, message, platform, optional version and email, language, submission time and your consent in the website database. You may choose one PNG or JPEG screenshot, up to 3 MB, which is held in private storage. Research documents, chats and device logs are not collected automatically. These reports and screenshots are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. A hashed network identifier is used temporarily to limit abuse.

Keep your Studio tracking code private: it allows access to the report status and the administrator's public reply, but not the original message, email, screenshot or internal notes. Studio feedback is not automatically sent to an AI model or emailed. Replies are available through the tracking screen. General website feedback continues to use the existing email delivery service.

The initial form does not accept document or dataset uploads. Please do not paste confidential research content, personal participant data or unpublished findings into the message field.

For legacy private transfer and proposal records, the recorded information includes the project reference, transfer status, file names and sizes, technical timestamps and submitted files. Legacy approval records include the approved scope, approving person's name, date and time, and a one-way security hash. These legacy functions are not an offer of a new service.

Files containing participant data or other personal information should be de-identified before upload. Do not upload special-category or unnecessary third-party data.

Why we use this information

Feedback is used to understand reported issues and, where appropriate, reply. Existing private operational records remain subject to their original purpose and applicable obligations. Technical information is used to protect the website and prevent misuse.

Email delivery and service providers

Form and workflow messages are transmitted through Resend. The website, database and private object storage use Cloudflare services. These providers may process the limited account, message, technical and file data needed to operate the service.

These providers may process data outside Türkiye. The applicable cross-border transfer mechanism remains subject to the data controller's assessment and documentation; this technical update does not establish a new transfer basis.

Retention and security

Secure upload links normally expire after 48 hours. Files uploaded only for scope assessment are scheduled for deletion 14 days after transfer completion; files for an approved project are scheduled for deletion 30 days after transfer completion, unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is legally necessary. Proposal, approval, invoice and payment records may be retained for the applicable statutory period.

File links use high-entropy bearer tokens that are stored only as one-way hashes. Files are stored under randomized object names in private storage and are not publicly listed. Administrator access uses a short-lived, single-use email link and an HTTP-only session cookie. We use proportionate safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may ask to access, correct or delete your enquiry information, subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact info@academicfix.com with your request.

The public tools and guides do not require an account. You can send rights requests concerning records linked to a former web Studio account to info@academicfix.com. Personal proposal and upload links should not be forwarded because anyone who obtains the active link may be able to view the proposal or upload files under that reference.
