Free tools, guides and checklists help researchers check their own work. No individual human service is offered.

AcademicFix Studio

AcademicFix Studio is a Windows application distributed through Microsoft Store. The former browser workspace and hosted Studio API access have closed. The public Studio page and feedback form remain available.

Work records in the Windows app stay on your device. Adding a file alone does not start an AI request. When you send a message or task, selected documents and related task context may be sent to your connected AI provider. If you use an official Codex or Claude Code session or an optional API connection, your provider's access terms, usage limits and any API charges apply. Studio does not automatically switch to a paid API connection.

Previously hosted project, conversation, task and file records linked to a former web Studio account were not deleted when browser access closed. The former web account's Settings screen can no longer be used to manage these records; they do not automatically transfer to the Windows app. You can send requests to access, correct or delete these records to info@academicfix.com.

Open Access Platform and Free Usage

AcademicFix’s public tools, checklists and guides are available without fees or a mandatory account. The Studio Windows app can be installed free from Microsoft Store. AI use in the app requires an eligible model connection and remains subject to the provider’s access terms, usage limits and any API charges.

The platform does not sell commercial services. Historical private records and proposal documents from earlier operational periods are retained in accordance with applicable statutory retention schedules and confidentiality commitments.

Academic Integrity and Prohibition of Ghostwriting

AcademicFix strictly adheres to international academic integrity standards (COPE, ICMJE, APA). We do not write dissertations, theses, or manuscripts on behalf of authors; we do not fabricate data or citations; and we do not assume authorship or manipulate scientific findings.

All resources and tools are designed to support researcher self-audit, technical verification, and methodological awareness. Final responsibility for manuscript content and integrity rests entirely with the author.

Local tools and external DOI requests

The BibTeX Validator, APA 7 Table Formatter, In-Text Citation Matcher and Similarity Report Draft tool process their text inputs in your browser. The DOI Citation Generator sends entered DOI identifiers to Crossref to retrieve metadata; it is not an offline-only tool. Feedback submitted through the feedback form is sent separately to the website's delivery service.

Tools are provided for technical pre-screening and do not substitute for peer review or institutional evaluation.

Author Responsibility

The author remains fully responsible for research accuracy, copyright permissions, ethics committee approvals, citation integrity, and final submission.
