Pre-submission technical review

Find preventable submission problems before the journal does.

A structured, human review of citation matching, headings, tables, figures, declarations and visible reporting consistency—without rewriting the manuscript or taking over authorship.

AcademicFix

A technical readiness check, not a promise of acceptance.

The review identifies visible issues that can delay screening or make a submission package harder to assess. Journal-specific scientific judgement remains with the editor, reviewers and author.

01

Human review

The visible file structure and target requirements are assessed together.

02

Traceable delivery

Technical corrections are separated from items requiring an author decision.

SCOPE

What the baseline review covers

01

Citation and reference reconciliation

Visible in-text citations are checked against the reference list in both directions; unresolved items are listed for author review.

02

Document structure

Headings, title-page elements, abstract, keywords, tables, figures, notes and appendices are checked for visible consistency.

03

Submission declarations

Author, funding, conflict, ethics, data-availability and related statements are mapped against the supplied journal requirements.

04

Reporting consistency

Visible mismatches between the stated method, analysis labels, tables and narrative reporting are flagged without inventing content.

05

Actionable issue report

Findings are prioritised and separated into direct technical corrections and questions requiring an academic decision.

FAQ

Is this the same as journal formatting?

No. Technical review checks visible submission-readiness issues. Journal formatting applies the named journal’s presentation and file requirements. They can be quoted separately or together.

Will you judge whether the research is scientifically correct?

No. We flag visible internal inconsistencies and reporting gaps, but we do not replace peer review, reproduce the study or certify scientific validity.

What will I receive?

A prioritised issue report and, where included in the approved scope, a technically corrected file with changes kept traceable.
